Welcome to the world of jetty fishing!
This site and the pages it contains are dedicated to the art of saltwater fishing from shore and nowhere can this be more fun and productive than from a jetty. There is no need for expensive boats or guides to catch a stringer full of fish; even trophy sized fish. All you need is the right kind of gear, tackle, bait and a little know-how and you're all set. Most all types of coastal species can be caught from the coastal jetties.
Fun can be had by the entire fishing family. The unrelenting bite of perch and various other rock dwelling fish can keep children entertained for hours just by fishing the edge of the jetty rocks. Even an occassional Mangrove Snapper, Pompano or Sheepshead may be caught just off the rocks. If you are into more serious fishing; fear not, for trophy Speckled Trout and Redfish are lurking out beyond those jetty rocks. Just check out the gallery pages and see for yourself! If patience and skill are your game and the conditions are right, fish such as King Mackerel, Cobia, Tarpon and various species of shark can be caught prowling the ends of the coastal jetties. Presented within these pages are tips, tricks and techniques that will aid in catching these and other species of fish from the coastal jetties.
Many of the tricks employed in jetty fishing are universal to all types of shore fishing and therefore interchangeable with surf and pier fishing as well, so feel free to browse the pages of this site and maybe discover some new tips and tricks or share some of your own.

Don't forget about the Bull Redfish Tournament either. A tournament that features over-sized redfish that runs annually from September 1st thru November 30th.
